ALL ABOUT CARDIOVASCULAR ENDURANCE
Cardiovascular endurance is basically how healthy your heart and lungs are, while involved in an activity. Many activities in cardiovascualr endurance are level intensity 5, which means your heart and lungs have to be healthy inorder to complete the activity. The way to improve your heart and lungs and to get them healthier is do cardiovascular endurance activities weekly. There are many activities in cardiovascular endurance, four of them are running, cross country skiing, jumping rope, and biking. The cardiovascular activity we do in gym is the pacer, the more you pace yourself and breath while running, the healthier your heart and lungs will be. ~Katie Bryant~
PACER TEST
The pacer test is a test we do in gym class where we run from one side of the gym to the other side. The pacer test falls under the cardiovascular endurance catigory because it involves an activity where the intensity level is 3 to 5 and because it involves your heart and lungs and blood flow. The pacer test is a great example of cardiovascular activities because it tests on how healthy your heart and lungs are, the healthier they are the more runs across you can handle.
